Hi
I would like to be able to insert live stock prices into a Word document if
I mention the ticker symbol.
For example, if I include "MSFT" in the document I would like it to be
replaced with "Microsoft down 0.4 per cent to $23.00"
I can insert the prices from Yahoo finance into Excel using useful macros
available here: http://www.gummy-stuff.org/Yahoo-data.htm
Does anyone know how it would be possible to automatically insert the
prices, for the stocks that I mention, into Word?
I would have thought this would be possible, perhaps using a search-replace
Macro of some sort between Excel and Word, but do not know how to do it. Help
would be much appreciated.
Many thanks indeed.
