Transfer emails & delete 2nd inbox

My son created a second inbox named "Hotmail - Inbox" that has all his
emails. I have transferred most of the emails but for some reason Outlook
freezes when I try to transfer the remaining emails (they can be lost). I
have to use task manager to close the program and start over. How can I get
rid of this second inbox and use the original inbox for all mail in Outlook
2002?

Should I consider an reinstall of Outlook 2002?

Usually via the mail icon in Control Panel. Open that profile, set the
default PST to be a local one adn remove the Hotmail account.
