Hi.

I friend of mine created a PowerPoint presentation. I would like to use
it on a PC.

1. Is this possible?
2. Is it enough to simply transfer the .pps file?

Thanks,

Shouldn't be a problem. Be sure to save the file
extension (.ppt, .pptx, etc.) along with the file.
That option's in the bottom left-hand corner of the Save dialog.

Also, keep in mind the differences in version.
Some things may not look or work the same in different
version of PowerPoint, regardless of OS platform.
If you're using PowerPoint 2008 for Mac, use the Compatibility Report
feature in the Save dialog. Keep in mind that PowerPoint 2007
for Windows and PowerPoint 2008 for Mac now share a new XML-based
format, the .pptx format, that cannot be read by earlier versions
of PowerPoint without a converter.

Let us know if you need any more help.
Good luck!

Jeff
