Transfer instant search index between computers?

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to solve the following
problem...

I currently use both a laptop and desktop PC. To keep things in sync
I use SyncToy to transfer the Outlook 2007 PST file between the two
machines - that way when I'm going to be away on business for a few
days I can use the laptop and when I get home I can update the main
PC.

However I've found that moving the PST files seems to reset the
Instant Search index back to the beginning. Is there any way to also
transfer the index data when transferring the PST file?

No, the Search Index is a database specific to the PC.

OK, thanks Robert - that's a shame I suppose I'll just turn
instant search off on the laptop so it doesn't spend all it's time
trying to catalogue things!
