Transfer of email addresses from Outlook Express 5.02

Until last night, I was using outlook express (5.02) as my email
program. I installed Entourage 2004 and when I tried to "import" my
old email addresses, the program said "no identities found". Where are
the old addresses stored in outlook express and is there an alternative
way to get them into Entourage without hand typing each one?

I haven't used Outlook Express in quite a while, but you should first
try and export your OE contacts to your desktop, or somewhere easy, and
then import them into Entourage.

Depending on which OS you're using, the OE identities may be in different
places. But if you're using Entourage 2004 you must have OS 10.2.8 or later.
In that case your OE identities are in the "Identities" folder here:

[user folder]/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Identities/

assuming you used them on the same computer. That's where to point the
importer. You need to go inside one more level to the "Main Identity" or
named identity within that folder. The "Identities" folder is not the same
as your new "Office 2004 Identities" folder used by Entourage 2004.
