Transfer of old OUTLOOK data to new system

M

Mike Roach

I recently purchased a new computer because my old
computer was destroyed by a power outage. Luckily the
hard drive was OK, so I had it installed in the new
computer to make transfering the old files easier. My
first task was to get the address book and message
folders from the old system into the new system so that
we don't have to start again. After purchasing two books
for a tune of $70 bucks, I still can not copy my old
adddress book or folders into the new version of outlook.
I now have XP and the newest version of Offfice, samll
business. I use Outlook Express. According to the
book "Outlook inside out", I should be able to import
both the old address book and the old message which I
saved in folders.
