transfer office license from broken laptop to new one

Dead lap top , not possible to repair ( HP pavillon). How can I , legally ,
transfer the <2007- Office ,home&student- license> to the new lap top ?

Hi, gianmarcoP,

If it's not an OEM copy tied to the HP, install it from your installation
media and activate it. If you have trouble with Internet activation, use the
telephone method and explain the hardware switch to the person on the phone.

Install on new & Activate, use phone activation if on line fails and explain
the old PC has failed, terminally
