Transfer spreadsheet problem

Ok what i have is an transfer spread sheetfunction running that creats a link
to spread sheets one at a time and does an append query to Aurora_modems
table.

Now for the problem
There is a column on the spread sheets called InvNum this number has text and
number of different lenghts. What is happening when i run the import is the
if it has a leading letter it wount import but if i place the data with a
leading letter in a different work sheet then it will import everything.

Why?

How can i get this to work?
