In Windows 2002, I have a number of files (chapters of a book) that I
am reviewing. I have worked on one of them and defined its styles.
Question 1. When I open another file, I see that the same style names
are associated with it, but not with the same definition. For instance,
I have defined the Body Style of Chapter 1 as double spaced, but the
Body Style of Chapter 2 is single spaced. How do I apply the styles I
want to all of the other files?
Question 2. How do I remove the many many unused styles that clutter
the style list for this project?
I am sure that these questions are rather fundamental, but this bear of
very little brain simply cannot make sense of Word's help files about
them.
With anticipated thanks....
