I hope someone can help me with this. I have been working on building a
website using blue voda and really like what I have made, but have not
published the site yet. Does anyone know if it is possible to transfer this
file to Frontpage?

Thanks for any input

I don't know what blue voda is.

But if a website displays OK, then you can open it in FrontPage.

But, you haven't published the site, so how do you know that it looks OK?

Does blue voda have a preview facility or does it open your page in IE or
another browser?

If so and it looks OK when oyu do that, then again , it should be fine to
open in FrontPage.

Blue Voda is a website building program and has it's own preview section to
see what your site looks like. But that is my problem, it will not allow
Front page to open the document. My problem is Blue Voda will not host the
type of site that I am building.

Hmm,
I am getting into uncharted waters here

You write "it will not allow Front page to open the document"

What is "it"?
If "it" is Blue Voda, then I can't see how Blue Voda would try to use
FrontPage.
But, if by "it", you mean Windows, then I don't understand. Any HTML file
(extension .htm or .html), can be opened by FP.

I would exit Blue Voda, having saved the file, and then open it with FP.

If this fails, then I am stumped, and others need to reply.

I apologize, "it" meaning Blue Voda, this program saved the site as a .bvp
file which I can not figure out how to open in Front page. The graphics that
Blue Voda offers are GREAT! and I Front page does not compare, this is why I
am trying so hard to use the site that I made.

Ahah,

Now I am getting some clues

I found by Googling that a .bvp file is created by
ProgramID FileType AppName EXEFile
BlueVoda.Document %ProgramFiles%\BLUEVO~1\BlueVoda.exe /dde
WebsiteBuilder.Document %ProgramFiles%\WEBSIT~1\WEBSIT~1.EXE

This is not a format that FrontPage would recognise.

But I wonder whether there is anything in BlueVoda that displays the HTML
code. In FP, it is HTML or Code view which displays all the code generated.

If there is something similar in Blue Voda, then you should be able to cut
and paste this code into another document (using NotePad would be good
enough) and then save it with an .html extension. This file could then be
opened in FP.

BTW,
Beware of graphics. They may not be compatible with all browsers. Even FP
has some graphics which can't always be viewed.

I'll bet you cannot do this...if you read their page it says that Voda
webhosting is required to publish the web.
