TransferDatabase from MDE w/ password

B

Brandon R.

I am trying to use the transfer database action in a macro
to import a table from an MDE into the mother MDB file. I
am prompted for the MDE password and it appears to run
without errors but when checking my tables there is no
imported table.

I have googled and msdn'd and searched here as well; I
cannot find anything. I have found others with the same
question, but no responses.

Thanks for the help,
Brandon R.

Hi,

My name is Eric. Thank you for using the Microsoft Access Newsgroups.

Have you tested with the Northwind database sample? I've tested with
Northwind without any problems using MDE file with Password. It's very
possible that it maybe strictly related to your database (e.g., corruption
in table, table name being used, Access keywords used in database, etc..).

I hope this helps! If you have additional questions on this topic, please
respond back to this posting.
