TransferDatabase help needed

Hi:
I would like to be able to use the transferdatabase action
to copy queries or tables from one Access database to
another. I do this routinely within my network by using
drive paths or UNC paths to find the source db, but I now
need to transfer tables/queries from a db that resides
(far away) on a server outside of our network. Would I
use IP address, ODBC, something else to locate the db? I
typically use a macro to execute the transferdatabase
command so I guess I'm looking for what would go on
the "Database Name" line. Thanks for any help,
