transfering a distribution list

How can a distribution list be transferred easily from one user's pc to
another?

Then all you need to do is insert the DL as an Outlook Item in a message in
RTF format and send it. The recipient need only open it and save it.

How do you go about inserting the DL as an Outlook Item in a message in
RTF format ? The Insert button in the email does not seem to have that option.

Depends on your Outlook version and editor, both of which you need to
specify.
