Transfering emails from one computer with outlook to another

Adrian

Hello,
I recently left my job. I put all my emails from my work outlook account
into a flashdrive and want to transfer them into my home computer on Outlook.
Isn't there a folder somewhere where I can drop all these email into?

Thanks

Did you copy your PST file (Outlook data file) to your flashdrive.

If yes then, simply copy the PST file to your home computer.

Open Outlook
Open the old data file (File-Open-Outlook Data File)

You can leave things like this or if you prefer copy (drag and drop works
fine for this) e-mails from your old PST to your current PST.

In what form did you save them on the flash drive? If you had copied your
PST from the old job to the flash drive, you could simply open it there in
Outlook with File>Open>Outlook Data File.

By the way, court cases have established that messages on a company-owned
asset belong to the company and not the individual. Your taking your old
job's mail could be construed as stealing. Consult an attorney in the case
of a question.
