Are you transferring from 1) a new installation to a new
installation; or 2) from a customized machine to a new
machine; or 3) from a customized machine to another
customized machine? If the answer is situation 1, just use
any of several PC files & settings transfer/copy tools
(Aloha Bob's PC Relocator, etc.). You can even do this for
situation 2 and remove unneeded customizations. Only with
situation 3 will you have to resort to registry tricks.
