transfering signatures between pc's

To transfer a signature with logo included between different pc's is pretty
hard to do. I usually copy the files in the user application data folder to
the other pc, but even then the signatures do not always come out as they
should.

A suggestion would be to make a signature transferable with an export feature.

What is different then?

A signature is nothing more than what is in the Signatures folder. An easy
method to open this folder is to hold CTRL when clicking on the
Signatures... button in Options.

Well, the path to the image has to be changed, since the username is in it.

I have to admit that now I look into the .htm file of the signature
generated by office 2007, realtive paths are being used. In the company I
work, Outlook 2003 as well as 2007 is being used, and the signature we use is
quite old (probably generated by Outlook 2003). In the past, and I had
troubles changing the path to a a relative one, but I'll experiment with it
again.

Still, the average user is not capable of installing a copied signature. A
function to distribute signatures by email or USB stick would be a time saver.

I didn't know of the ctrl-click function by the way. That's a good one,
thanks.
