Transferred files between folders become unaccessible

If I move a word document from one folder to another, I
loose access to my own file, even if the computer tells me
it's there and knows the size of the document. How do I
create unrestricted access to my files before and after
the problem develops? How did this mess develop? My Email

I assume you're not trying to access the file from Word's File menu or any
other MRU list?
