Transferring Auto-Correct if You Just Have the User.acl File

Dave Bado’s article,
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/ExportAutocorrect.htm, seems very
useful – unless you’ve already done the deed, so to speak. I backed up my
..acl file as a pure .acl file on my old Word 97/Win 95 installation before I
upgraded to a new machine and Word 2003. I hadn’t read Dave’s article yet, so
I did not create the backup document from Dave’s template before I wrapped up
life on my old machine. Short of reviving my moribund Win95 unit and running
through Dave’s backup process – or installing Word 97 with Word 2003
concurrently long enough to try Dave's process on my new machine – is there a
way to bridge the generations and transfer the ACL using simply my Word 97
user.acl file?

Perhaps, Jim, there's some kind soul who would do this FOR you. :) Supposing
they ran FOUR versions of Office on their PC (97 to 2003), they'd likely be
able to handle the transfer for you, right? :) Just remind me of Dave's
link when/if you decide to send the acl. :)
