transferring custody of one child to the other parent

I would like information on a template for transferring custody of one child
to the child's other legal parent.

HUH? This is an Access newsgroup. Are you trying to transfer a child
record from one table to a different parent in another table? If not, you
are in the wrong place.

If you are actually talking about transferring custody of a human, it seems
that a lawyer (not a newsgroup) would be the way to go. Maybe that's just
me though.

I'm pretty sure you are not going to find a template built around this type
of process.

While I'm sure the steps can be captured, and organized, into a database
structure, each government entity will have their own unique requirements,
for such a system.

You would probably be better off hiring someone to write an application
specific to your needs.

Or, if I'm totally off-base here, I'll support Rick's post. =)
