Transferring documents to new Office XP programme

My hard drive has been replaced and I need to (buy) and install Office XP
onto it. Will I be able to download the documents saved on my memory stick
onto the new installed program - or will there be any security blocks - or
any other problem to prevent me from doing so?

Purchasing Office XP may prove to be a challenge as it has been out of
print for quite a few years. As to any difficulties with the documents,
well that will be determined by what program created them. You shouldn't
have any problems reading any of your documents based on security
issues. As to other problems you may encounter, well that's any ones
guess, your previous hard drive did fail, and other equipment can also.
