transferring from a .pst file

I down loaded my outlook address book onto a disc as a pst file.

Now when I put the disc back into my new computer and try to open the file
it comes up as a whole lot of dots circles and squares.

Can anyone help

I think .pst is a Personal Folder. You need to link or import it back to
Outlook to see the data.

However, you are asking the wrong newsgroup. This newsgroup is for
Microsoft Access, a database application.

Suggest you re-post to one of the Outlook newsgroups.
