Transferring Macros

I have created a simple Macro in Word to record my keystrokes in order to
automate a task of course. However, what i need to do next is see if these
Macros can be transferred to other PCs in my work environment so that I don't
have to recreate the same Macros on each PC in our office.

Where does word save these Macros? and Can I just transfer them via E-Mail
or a shared drive source and simply assign the appropriate keystroke/toolbar
to the macro as normal?

Thanks,

McRib

hmm...well according to the article i would have to save the macros into a
template as opposed to the "Normal.dot" file to reduce chaos when
transferring the Macro to other users. However, i believe this then involves
having to modify a template via VBS/VBA and I am not familiar enough with VBS
code to do that... :-(

Correct.

Did you just use the macro recorder to create your macros? If so, just
repeat the steps, but specify a particular template when asked where to save
the macro.
