Transferring mail from Lotus Notes to Outlook

What options are available to me to transfer mail from a Lotus Notes R5
client to Outlook 2000?

I have a client supplied email account that I only access from a machine the
client has also supplied. Their mail system is Lotus Notes and the
workstation has the R5 client. Of the 10-15 mail messages I get daily, I
want to have access to about half of them from my own machine where I use
Outlook 2000.

To date, I've been forwarding those messages to my own personal account.
The problem is that the "From" data is useless as they all appear to come
from my own client supplied account. When I've had time, I've manually
edited the mail file while it's still on my mail server but that's
cumbersome at best.

Notes has limited export options and I can't install anything on the client
supplied machine. What other options are available to me? Ideas I've had
include:
- Outlook .pst editor so I can edit the From header (I segregate this
client's mail into a separate .pst on my personal machine.) Unfortunately,
it doesn't look like such a tool exists.
- Web based rfc2822 file editor. This would allow me to edit the messages
before I retrieve them with Outlook. Can't find one of these either.
Writing my own is an option, but not preferred.
- Windows mail application that let's me edit the message headers. I'd be
happy to send these messages to a dedicated mail account and retrieve them
with a different mail client.
- Redirect service that would preserve the original "From" header
- Creating a form and any necessary code in Outlook to allow me to change
the "From" header back to the original sender's internet email address.
