Transferring Office 2007 Office Standard Upgrade to another comput

Hi everyone.

I used the trial verion of Office 2007 and eventually purchased the Office
Standard Upgrade. I loaded it and it works perfectly.

I am replacing my computer with a newer model and want to transfer the
Upgrade version to the new computer....but I cannot seem to do that without
downloading the trial version first and THEN installing the upgrade. If I do
this, what will happen in 60 days when the trial version expires? Will the
upgrade just automatically kick-in? Can I avoid having to do this?

Thanks very much for your help.

An Office trial is not a qualifying application for an Office upgrade cd.
You must have had something else installed, eg Works?

Oh my. You're RIGHT! I did have Works 6.0 but forgot all about it!

Does that mean that I'll have to reinstall Works 6.0 on my new computer and
then install the upgrade?

Thanks very much for your help. Much appreciated.

No, you just need the Works cd available, to pop in when the 2007 install
complains it cannot find qualifying app, once verified, insert 2007 cd and
continue.

PS Ensure you have removed any trial version that may have been installed by
the OEM first.
