Transferring project file from one server to another

Hi,

I want to transfer project files from one MS project 2007 server to another
one.
So I am opening the files in old server, save as to local server .
But when I open it in new server, enterprise custom field values (columns)
are comign as NA.

Could anybody please help me with this.

Try savin them as mpp files first, then use the Import Wizard to bring them
into the new server. Let us know if you get better results.

Hello,

When you save enterprise project to local machine and tried to open
from computer profile or using new server profile, you will not see
the value custom values under Project Information.

First restore the old server's "Enterprise Custom Fields & Lookup
Tables for Custom Fields" on new server. After this step, you can use
either open file method or import method to store the file from local
machine to new server. I hope you will see the custom field values on
project plan.

If any one have any other ideas, please suggest.
