Transferring software

I have 2 computers both running Windows XP Home. Bought
Office 2003 for laptop which currently runs Office XP.
Would like to transfer Office XP to desktop which
currently has Office 97. I have all original disks. How
do I do this? What is sequence for transfer/upgrade?

If it's OEM you may not do this - the EULA prohibits transfer. If it's a
retail upgrade and you have a qualifying product, just go ahead and
install - you may need to call the activation line, but it only takes five
minutes - ditto retail full version.
