transferring text to an ASP

How can i transfer values from a current record to an ASP
on a web page.

e.g. if i had a control box in a form with the value
containing a street name and hyper-linked
to "http://pol.royalmail.com/dda/pf.asp", how can i tab to
the "street" field and transfer this value into this box?
