We have an issue now where the previous Project Manager left and we now have
a new PM with responsibilities for the project schedule. The new PM logs in,
republishes the assignments and becomes the manager for the entire project.
I have created the Task Manager view that you guys referenced in your
knowledge base, and I can see that the new PM is the Manager for some tasks
but not ALL tasks.
It looks like all the tasks that had no actual work are functioning
correctly, but for the tasks with actual hours that the previous PM was
approving, those updates are still going to the previous PMs account (even
after we made the old PM inactive). We had to make the previous PMs old
account a project server account after they left because the account is no
longer on the domain controller for NT authentication. We were able to get
into the account and get the time approved, but we need to figure out why the
updates for those tasks are still going to the old PM. Any insight
appreciated, thanks
