TransferSpreadsheet fails (error 3027) if 1 record returned?

Peter Palmer

Hello

In Access 97 within a module, I'm trying to run TransferSpreadsheet using a
pre-defined query. This completes fine if the query returns more than one
record.
However, if there's only one record, I get the error message "Can't update.
Database or object is read-only. (Error 3027)".
I've also tried (outside of the module) right-clicking over the same query,
then SaveAs Excel, but get the same error message.
Any suggestions will be very gratefully received!

Thanks for looking,
