TransferSpreadsheet Issues

I

Ilan

Hello All,
I am trying to create a macro that will transfer an excel
spreadsheet that i have on a network drive into access.
I am having one big issue. The big issue is i type in my
file name, which is:
"Y:\Membership\2005 DAILY DUES.xls"

However, when i attempt to run the macro i get a message
saying it cannot find my file but when it says that, it
adds to my filepath "c:\documents and settings\ilan\my
documents"

i do not understand why it adds this path to my path. Is
there any way that i can get this file to import with the
file on my network Y drive?

Thanks,
Ilan

Are you hardcoding the filename into the macro's File Name argument? Or are
you entering the filename based on an input box? Or by some other means?
Tell us more about the macro's setup and contents, please.
