Transparent Background Questions

I have gif files on my dev machine, which look fine (trasparent background)
I set the background by using the toolbar, picture and using the transparent
pen to set the image on my dev environment.

However, when I publish the site (via FP) the images are not transparent.
Any ideas? (Washington Logo Top Right)

Also, any ideas on how I can get more images in the banner and remove the
ugly grey box that is displayed under the images in the upper right corner of
the site.

1. The gray background for the banner is specified by the parameters for the applet:
<applet code="fprotate.class" width="264" height="138"> to cover the gray you will need to make all
images 264 by 138 in size.

2. As for the transparency, make sure the gif file is "published" to the server. The one that's
there simply isn't transparent.

Steve, thanks you were right, the image was not published over... Sorry...
I found another post using some JavaScript to handle the images...
And am lookign into that, I may have to go back to the folks that created
the images and have they give me uniform size images, that is the solution.
