Trying to overlay a transparent .GIF graphic overtop
another graphic I've inserted into the Word2000 document.
Once I've inserted it I resize and move to where I want it
and it looks/prints perfect. After I save the Word
Document and reopen it, the overlayed transparent .GIF no
longer is visible. I've tried changing the order but that
does nothing. Anyone have any ideas?

G'day "bob" <[email protected]>,

I have had numerous problems with transparent gfx. Be very wary :)
Additionally, Zorder matters little sometimes.

Hi Bob,

What view are you in in Word 2000?
Graphics that are not 'in line with text' will not
appear in Web or Normal view.

I'm assuming you're using either the Word 'no fill'
color setting in the Fill tool or the 'transparency' tool
in the Picture Toolbar to create the transparency for the
layered graphics?
