Transparent GIF

I am trying to place a transparent gif onto a form in Access 2000, the transparent portion has a grey background and Access will not treat it as transparent. Instead when viewing the form Access treats the GIF as a normal picture, showing the grey background. Is this a known propblem? I haven't been able to find any usefull information about this anywhere. Is there a specific background color that should be used for transparent GIF's within Access?

Thanks in advance

You can insert the image into an MS WOrd doc and then copy and paste
from Word to Access.
Alternatively see:
http://www.lebans.com/transparent.htm
Transparent.zip is a database containing functions to allow for the
conversion of Bitmap, Gif, Jpeg, Enhanced Metafile and Metafile to an
Enhanced Metafile format supporting Transparent backgrounds.
