Transparent Lines

Hi All,

I am trying to join a line to a circle and make the line and circle 50%
transparent. I cannot figure-out how to make the join transparent. When
joining other lines this works fine - but not with circles.

I have tried various things, including making the circle 1-dimensional.

Any help, advice or workarounds would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
John.

Hi,

You might need to change the NoFill of circle from True to False.
If you open the shape sheet, you will find Geometry sections.
The Geometry section of the circle may have Nofill "True".
If you turn to False, you can fill jointed circle, and make it transparent.

Hi,

Unfortunately that didn't work.

But, I have now created two half-circles (from straight lines) and combined
them. Now when I join another straight line then combine everything into one
shape - the joins are not visible when I set transparency level to 50%. Not
ideal, but it works.

JuneTheSecond's solution should have worked. Once you join the circle and
line, the shapesheet for the resulting shape should have two Geometry
sections. The section for the circle must have the nofill set to false. The
cell name would be something like Geometry1.NoFill, and, of course, the
entered value would be either "0" or "false" (without the quotes.

It really does work.
