Transparent Png 24's in Frontpage 2003 ?

Hello -
I'm on Frontpage 2003, Win XP Pro. I have been increasingly using Adobe
Photoshop's Png 24 file format that has transparency (for creating
bullets/vectors etc), and this works especially well in Flash. But when I
try this format in Frontpage 2003, the transparency is not preserved for
some reason when I bring a png 24 file into the program. I have looked into
the 'Options', 'Site Settings' and 'Customize' windows, all from the 'Tools'
menu and I can't seem to find where I might be able to set the program to
work with this file. Is this a limitation for Frontpage 2003 or can I change
settings somewhere so that I get the transparency I need ? Thanks for
helping,..Frank

Actually, only IE, among modern browsers. I believe all the rest display
PNG transparency out of the box.

Unfortunately, it will be years before one wouldn't have to worry about
IE<7, however....

Which will only be in Beta, supposedly, sometime this summer (winter, for
you Southern Hemsphere types).

Given MicroSoft's less-than-stellar ability to meet Marketing's release
dates (See Longhorn), I wouldn't hold my breath.
