transport files to word perfect suite 8

I just bought a new computer with Vista. All of my previous software is
outdated I know but I do not want to upgrade all of them. I use them for my
medical transcription work. I am having trouble copying files from Microsoft
2007 to WordPerfec Suite 8. I need to save the format also, not just the
text. Please give advice! Thanks,

I'd try saving in an earlier version of Word, or using RTF.
