Transpose Worksheet

I have a worksheet that is two hundred rows long and uses
every column in the worksheet. I have several more
columns to enter so I need to switch the columns into rows
and the rows into columns because they are thousands of
rows available. I believe it is called transposing the
worksheet or data. What is the quickest most efficient
way to accomplish this?

Select the range you want to transpose, copy it, select a new empty sheet
(you could do it below the range
but it is probably better to start on a new sheet), do edit>paste special
and check transpose
