I use Goldmine as my mail client, but I want to answer my emails with
handwriting. This may sound easy, but whenever I drag and drop my
inked email responses in OneNote into a Goldmine email composition
window, it turns into text. If I create a drawing in OneNote, I can
drag and drop it with no problem; it stays an image. I thought maybe I
could create a background for writing on, like stationery, but when I
put ink writing on top of the background picture in OneNote, the text,
of course, remains text.
In OneNote, I can click on the Tools/Treat selected text/ buttons, but
the option "as drawing" is greyed out. This is very frustrating; does
anyone have a fix for this? I have tried Journal too for what I am
trying to do, but no luck there either. All ink gets switched to text
upon copying and pasting or dragging and dropping.
There must be a solution to this. In fact, the first time I tried to
drag and drop from OneNote into Goldmine, my writing appeared just as
I had written it, but I have been unable to duplicate this since then!
So, it can be done.
