You know when your viewing data in a table in access xp GUI and you click on
the [+] to view child records if theres more than one table it asks you to
select which table you want to view ?

When you close the tables it asks if you want to save. What if you click
'yes' by mistake and next time you want to view another table, how to you
change which table is shown ?

Cheers :D

Hi Marc,

Thanks for your reply but your procedure did not have the desired effect for
me.

Cheers,

Chris.

I think you can delete the relationships for that table, and then close the
relationship view and save it. Call up the parent table. Then close that
table, then go to the relationships view again, and reconnect the tables,
and then go to the table and then select the correct one to many
relationship you wish to see in the table. I'm not 100% sure about this,
but if someone knows for sure, I would like to learn about this as well.

As far as changing the structure of the database, it shouldn't matter which
one to many relationship you connect to a table. It just matters which on
the table will use to branch out with I do believe.
