Treeview does not display correctly in Word 2002

Running WinXP w/serv pack 1a
Word 2002 w/ Office XP serv pack 1 and 2
also w/ Word 2002 Update: October 16, 2002

When I add a treeview
(Microsoft Treeview Control Version 6) to my document,
the text for the nodes does't show up correctly.
The text shows up once I exit design mode; however,
If I were to put the treeview in a Pane... the text goes
screwy again once that pain loses focus.

I've reinstalled WinXP and WinXP Service Pack
and reinstalled Word 2002.
Tried the treeview with each Office XP Serv Pack and Word
Update, but it still shows up the same.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

If you guys have Word 2002 and WinXP... Lemme know if
yours works fine... if it does then I'll just reformat
and reinstall windows and word. I didnt' reformat when I
did this last install... I just reloaded windows on top
of itself.
If someone knows why the treeview control would get
corrupted like that.. it would be helpful. Wouldnt' want
to make the same mistake twice.

Not sure whats going on with the newsgroups... but I just
noticed my message got duplicated and is now appearing in
microsoft.public.word.vba.general

Don't know how it got there... I didn't do it
