Trendline data points

Is is possible to display the data points (ie. the actual
numbers) on a trendline?

A trendline is a best fit through a series of points, and as such has no
actual data points of its own. You can use LINEST to get the
coefficients into the worksheet, and calculate trendline Y values for X
values of interest. Bernard Liengme has hints for working with
polynomial regression and LINEST:
