treo 600 syncing with entourage 2004

I am having trouble gettine my Treo 600 to sync with Entourage 2004-I
have not previously had Entourage X installed. When I try to install
the Handheld Sync Conduit for Entourage X it fails to load because of
error: Microsoft component plugin missing. I know from other posts
that 04 and Treo do not talk well together but that most people are
able to get some syncing. Can anyone help with my problem?

You need to install the Handheld Synchronization Conduit for Entourage 2004.
It's located in /Applications/Microsoft Office 2004/Additional
Tools/Handheld Sync Installer.
