Trial version can't have PDF save?

J

Jonathan

When I tried to download the Save As PDF extension the Genuine Validation
failed on the moments-before-installed Office2007 install. The message
offered told me that trial software is not eligible for that add-in.
Anyone else had this happen?

Also, have not found Desktop search to download the latest 3.0 build, but I
bet that will show up under a rock somewhere!

I am pretty sure it will work you just need to download the PDF plugin that
is a seperate download.

The problem is that the download is behind an Office Genuine Advantage
authorization. That means, you can't download it until you pass the OGA
validation. And that's the piece that is failing for Jonathan...

Yes you are right. We are looking into it.

Thanks for bringing it up.

That's also "protected" by the WGA website.

Yes, please do so.
I'm planning a demo for the staff and the students of our university
and the PDF-export feature is one of the things which are important.

Yes; I. too, experienced this problem.... I'm assuming that until the trial
version is purchased, some features are not enabled.;

Thanks for the suggestion.
I have it on mysystem (natuarlly <bg>).
But I was a bit hesitating if I might freely distribute to our
students and staff.

But according to the old Latin sying "mundo vult decipy" (the word
wants to be betrayed) ...
