Trial Version Installation

I plan to download the trial version of Office Standard 2003. I am only
interested in installing Word and Excel and not interested in installing
Outlook or Powerpoint as I have no use for those nor the space. My question
is this - I am planning to download the trial to a large removable harddrive,
and install to my smaller boot drive. Can I install just the applications
that I want, in the same way I could if I were to purchase the software and
install from the CD?
By way of background - I recently went from Windows 2000 to Windows XP and
the version I have of Office is 2000. I don't want to bother with the hassle
of installing it, updating it, and removing it for the sole purpose of
printing a few files that I have.
TIA
Miss C

Not sure I follow all, but if you only wish to 'print off a few files' why
not install the apps you require from your office2k cd. There would be no
need to update if that all you wish to do.
PS If your boot/only internal drive is that small you may eventually run
into problems.
