Trial Visio won't activate

I just received the trial version of Visio 2003 but can't get it to activate and the telephone option is grayed out. What can I do? The computer i am installing it on does not have an internet connection although it does have a modem. The activation wizard does not even try to dial out. I do not have a dial up service to connect to so I can't connect first. BTW, the system requirements do NOT mention needing an internet connection

I have the same problem except I have an internet
connection and it still doesn't work. I have tried
phoneing and emialing microsoft but they just aren't
interested.
