Tries to open Office on boot up

Recently when I boot up I get messages saying Powerpoint has had a problem
and needs to close, or Excel needs to close, or changes have been made to the
normal.dot file when no office component is in start up. What is causing this
and how do I stop it? I've run av and spyware scans which found nothing, and
I've run ccleaner which also made no difference. I'm using Office 2003 on XP
pro SP2.

Problem solved. I realized that the three office programs appearing - Word,
Excel, and Powerpoint, are the three programs serviced by Windows Live Office
Add in which I had only recently installed. I deleted the add in and now no
more phantom appearances on boot up.
