Trim Function

Running Access2000. Can anyone tell me why I get a "Enter
Parameter Value" for "Trim"request when trying to run a
report using "=trim([FName]&" "&[LName])". It used to
work, and I don't know what I've done.

Don't know if it will work but, try changing it to;

"=trim([FName]" & " " & "[LName])".

If it's asking for the value of the parameter Trim, it's possible that
you've got the well-known References bug.

Open any module in design view, or open the VBA editor by typing
Ctrl-G. Select Tools... References from the menu. One of the .DLL
files required by Access will probably be marked MISSING. Uncheck it,
recheck it, close and open Access.

If none are MISSING, check any reference; close and open
Access; then uncheck it again. This will force Access to
relink the libraries.
