Tring to merge 2 accounts, or delete one of them

A

Android

I accidently created two versions of usernames for about 12 people. One with
Windows authentication and one with Project Server authentication.

Trying to merge them gives the error "Microsoft Project Server cannot merge
an enterprise resource account into another account.".

There is not much data in the system, so I have no problem deleting these
account if necessary.

Is it possible to delete one of these account or merge them into the Windows
authentication version?

Regards,

Android.

If you are using Project Server 2003, you can delete the resources you do
not want by completing the following steps:

1. Log into PWA with administrator permissions
2. Click the Admin menu
3. Click the Clean up Project Server database link
4. Select the Resource option
5. Select a resource to delete
6. Click the Delete button
7. Repeat steps #5-6 until you have deleted all of the extra resources

When you use the above steps, the resources will be deleted from the
Enterprise Resource Pool and their user accounts will be removed from PWA.
To perform a bulk deletion of all the extra resources in a single step, you
could also install and use the Project Server Cleaner tool, which is
available for download at:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...a4-ada5-4aa7-ad98-2e7681d69beb&DisplayLang=en

If you are using Project Server 2002, you can delete each of the extra
resources using the SQL script found at the following link:

http://www.projectserverexperts.com/Project Server FAQs/deleteresource.htm

Hope this helps.
