Trouble Applying oxpsp1.exe ...

G'day

While trying to run and apploy oxpsp1.exe for Office XP
2002 Prof. It halts with the error:

Error 1328. Error applying patch to file
D:\Config.Msi\PT7A7.tmp. It has probably been updated by
other means, and can no longer be modified by this patch.
For more information contact your patch vendor.

Now I have never run SP1 for this software before as it's
new so I don't know why it wont work - Can someone advise
me of what to do or how to get around this error ?
