Trouble copying custom Task Sheet to Global.MPT

I've created a custom version of the Task Sheet and copied it to the
Global.MPT, but when I try to apply it in other project plans, nothing
happens. The name of the custom view appears in the More Views dialog box,
but when I apply it, the custom fields I've created do not appear. However,
if I insert the columns (Flag 1, Flag 2...), the data is correct in them -
but the column headings are not customized.

I even tried copying it to the other project plans (instead of to the
Global.MPT) and although the name of the custom view appears in the list of
More Views, the customized view is not applied when I select it.

I customized the Gantt Chart view, and copied it to the Global.MPT, and
successfully applied it to other project plans. What am I doing wrong with
the Task Sheet?

Hello kristyangelique,

When you created the custom view, did you also create a custom table?
Did you copy the definition of the custom fields, custom table, and
custom view to global?

Thanks so much JulieS. I had only copied over the view, and not the table
and fields. Once I did that, it worked.
